We planted a "tree" for earth day and displayed posters and Arbor day we cleaned in and outside our church. We also learned and took the Environmental Pledge to our part in preserving Planet Earth. We are preparing the soil for Winter and expect to present an "Organic, Eatable Vegetable, vegetable, flower and butterfly garden. Recycling and Water Preservation are one of our major projects. We will be learning how to grow our own vegetables and by doing so will be able to assist the Food Bank located in our area. How our project is helping kids grow: We GESG (Green Environmental Student Garden) Advisory Team has produced a dynamic curriculum tailored to each child's strengths and needs in a unique Christian education setting. The rich and carefully planned environmental program will allow each child to explore, create and learn while having fun.
