Mingling gardening with teaching has been an incredible experience since it reflects life and human values in a spontaneous and natural way.Apart from integrating not only language -I teach English- but Physics, Maths, Art, Spanish, Geography, Biology and Outside Class Activities, we've found other intrinsic features like cooperation, equality, hard work and even God's blessing when facing a seed.

We are interested in being E-Mail Pals and would like to exchange: Everything is welcome. We have to bear in mind we belong to the south hemisphere, so I think it could be an interesting and enriching experience.
How our project is helping kids grow: It's helping them as they learn or practice how to: * Be responsible for a plant since its very beginning, including soil preparation and growing process, * Be aware of the importance of recycling, * Integrate other members of the family or neighborhood in order to find information about plants, * Spend their free time on an activity that is relaxing for body and mind, even profitable. * Combine technology and nature by creating photo presentations, recordings of birds and sounds that can only be heard in this environment. * Take control of their actions and consequences, usually rewarding when doing the right thing.
